Little Fins, the free popular kids’ club for pre-schoolers, returns on Wednesday June 19 at Poole’s Dolphin Shopping Centre.
With a theme of ‘The Popping 90s Films,’ including Aladdin, Lion King and Jurassic Park, youngsters will be able to create and decorate a selection of fun movie-themed characters made from plasticine whilst adding a range of fabric, wool and googly eyes. Children will also be able to enjoy soft play, interactive games and storytelling from 9.30 to 11.30am.
The free session will provide various props such as an Aladdin vase, palm trees, baby dinosaurs and tiger ‘peep through’ photo opportunities.
Little Fins is run by the award-winning Crafty Arty World and takes place in an area outside the Beales department store. Booking is not required to attend.
The shopping centre hosts Little Fins sessions for parents and children every third Wednesday of the month, through to October 2019. Each session includes pop-up soft play and mini art and craft sessions, provided within a comfortable and safe environment for children to play in.
John Grinnell, centre manager at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, commented: ‘’Our Little Fins programme of activity has been a huge success so far this year and we’re looking forward to this 90s movies-themed session.
“The two-hour kids’ club provides parents with the perfect opportunity to encourage their little ones to get creative and interact with others. Not to mention that it also enables local parents to get to know one another while their children play.’’
